What's in a name?
The stigma surrounding mental health (behavioral health, counseling or therapy) is that utilizing it means you are not strong. This stigma comes from the ignorant, the uneducated, the WEAK. I'm here to change that!
To be fit for anything you must be mentally prepared. You must be mentally fit to pursue life changing events. This is what I call "fitness of the mind".
Making the decision to pursue counseling is often tough and many things distract us from the importance of developing ourselves. I'm here to tell you that this decision is for the STRONG. No matter what your struggling with, you still make the decision to fight!
Not all counselor's are one and the same. In our office, we are partners. We are your resource. We learn from each other.

We all play so many roles in our lives as you probably do. At MindFit Counseling, our one true passion is helping others achieve their goals, develop their mind and be the best they can be in any role that they play.
EXPERIENCE

She's primarily worked with adults and children addressing life stressors, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. She really enjoys working with children and parents of children diagnosed with ADD/ADHD and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. She has a special interest in Brainspotting – a focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation and a variety of challenging symptoms.
